EARTHERIA v0.52 Game Engine complete!
1st March 2013
After four pretty intense months of development we're pleased to report that the game engine is 'pretty much' complete! Remaining bugs are being mopped up even as we speak.
The engine is important as it allows the game's innumerable parameters to be tested and changed very quickly without going back to change the code base each time.
It also makes it possible to 'skin' any game we're working on, if we wish to address new genres, localize existing games or adapt new game variants.
Testing will commence once we set up the first configuration of the game... and that's actually a lot of configuration! This is where good aspects of game design can be subtly baked into the config to tease out target emergent behavior.

EARTHERIA v0.501 Iteration commences
8th November 2012
We're off! After a protracted design period, we've hit the ground running at full speed. We have two developers working client-side on an iOS native implementation and our Wizard of Node.js Sorcery working relentlessly on the server-side.
Working around the clock in multiple time zones seems to create a feeling of two days passing for each 24 hours ... but things are taking shape fast.
A special shout-out and thanks to our awesome friends at Firebase for being so responsive and always coming through with The Gold.
Looking good guys!
